Desmond “Dez” Walker

Mr. Walker, a Detroit native has diverse experiences as a mortgage broker, music producer, artist manager, film producer, director, editor, and has held various positions in the media and film industry. Desmond “DEZ” Walker, is the founder, President and CEO of Our Culture Network, an independent multimedia network established in 2002 which is the hub for all the other business entities owned by this visionary entrepreneur. Desmond graduated from Mumford High School in 1992 and promptly started his career in the music industry. He relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where he worked for an independent record company called 26/20 formerly known as Revolution Records. Desmond was the head of A & R and managed several artist including, Beretta and Swift, from the Detroit rap group, D12.

Mr. Walker has an established production company, ML Entertainment that completed production on their first feature film, titled “ENVY” in 2005 and was first seen at the Annual Motor City Film Festival, Founded by ML Davis the Associate Producer and Casting Director of the film. The 98-minute, urban drama was shot in its entirety using the Sony F900 HD CineAlta Camera. Desmond’s film company also provided the post-production for the film and his record label, M.O.B.L.I.F.E. Records produced the soundtrack.
